The Quiet Side of
Winter
Harrisville, Michigan
Many people see winter as a time to "hibernate" or to escape
the severe
conditions which sometimes occur. I wanted to photograph a winter scene
that
emphasized its quiet, gentler side. Like the other seasons, winter does
have
an allure all its own. For me, winter is more appealing because despite
the
cold temperatures, it can still be warm and inviting - which is what I
wanted
to accomplish with this image.
